Arcanist Doan is Done
5.14.06
I went to a friends' house over the weekend. He happens to play WoW, so we alternated playing every two hours. I took full advantage of this. Xelare started on friday at level 30. I went to STV for the first time and grinded like a maniac to 32. This also worked up my skinning-- which in turn made me some spare gold. A group in my guild asked if anyone wanted to tag along to SM. I was 2 levels low (give or take) but I asked. Hesistantly, they took me to the library. We cleared all the way up to doan with no problems. We get to doan and get him to about 1/3 health. Then all of a sudden, he lets off his AoE fire move. I'm dead. Having learned from past experiences, I didn't release 'til they downed and looted him. Illusionary Rod and Mantle of Doan both dropped. I needed and won both. I can't wear the mantle for a level and the rod for two, but at least it'll be an upgrade from my emberstone staff. Now: Ghosts of Ironforge was fairly large, with 100 people or so. We've merged with another guild about the same size to make KOH (Knights of Honor, as far as I know. All I can confirm is that the tag says KOH). We now have about 60 level 60s and 200 some people. Very nice. I'm gonna try to hit 34 this weekend. I'll be sure to post a screenshot of me with my mantle and rod. ^_^

A Lot to Report
5.07.06
There's a lot of... junk... that's happened with me lately in WoW-- mainly on the horde side. First is the state of the guild. Asros has decided to go to "Unholy Aura" to experience the end-game raiding aspect of the game. His leaving the pod people has left everything a mess. The officers have more than they can handle and many other people are starting to reconsider the future of the guild. I, for one, respect his decision-- but I don't appreciate his abruptness. I've heard what appears to be both sides of the stories, and I fear that a "he dunnit" war is approaching. I am staying in The Pod People (like I have a choice at level 14). Secondly: The Pod People had a guild event this last weekend! It was good timing, as we needed something to come together more in light of recent events. We had a scavenger hunt and then the afterparty eventually turned into a 40 main raid. We partied in TB for a while then we all simultaneuously took a gryph to the crossroads. After that, we ran to ashenvale and pillaged and plundered. As soon as the gryphon master would die, we'd down it within 10 seconds. =D Then we WERE going to try our hand at Auberdine (and many people said we easily could've), but people were growing tired and we had many low levels. So, to end the night, we all hearthed at exactly the same time (making the server cry again) and called it a night. That's what's been happening on the Horde side. What about the alliance? Nothing. I was having so much fun on Aheina, that I neglected to level my priest. Oh well... I'll get around to it. The pictures are in descending order: Gryph to XR; Gathering Up; Hearthing Out
